Centara Reserve Krabi needed a specialty bar with more backbone than another pretty resort lounge.

Studio Ryecroft developed Monsoon House: a modern tropical bar shaped by Krabi’s rain, heat, coastline and slow-changing weather.

The concept moves beyond easy beach drinks into rum, agave, local spirits, tea, spice, coconut, tropical ageing and storm-season ritual.

‍

Bamboo, oak, clay, coconut shell, sand and sea become part of how the bar thinks and behaves.

‍

The output is a grown-up resort bar with a clear point of view: tropical, local, technically serious, and built for more than sunset.
